i cut my nails…

Dishwasher drawing…this morning. Whilst it hasn’t been ten months since I last did them, cutting them is something that is largely in the same category as ironing. I also opened my window to air my bed before making it. I’ve been thinking of other things I haven’t been doing and might now. So, when I’m not exhausted I can:

  • draw
  • cook good food
  • bake delicious (if not so good for me) things
  • sit in the sun
  • nap stress free
  • not give in to so readily to hypochondria
  • see people
  • be less grumpy
  • have ideas
  • NOT get carried away with ideas
  • think of other things to do when I’m not exhausted

The dishwasher is leaking. The basket inside has been annoyingly broken for months. Maybe it’s time for a new one? Having one means I don’t need to stand to wash-up meaning I’m more likely to have the energy for more of the above.

Does your dishwasher have a name?

My mom had SA friends whose dishwasher was called Josephine and her dishwasher has always been called Jemima (even when she has changed brands)

He does – it’s Copenhagen because he’s wonderful, wonderful) :-D

Wonder how old Copenhagen is, and if he is fixable. I have a friend who says they are more trouble than they are worth – stacking and unstacking etc., but I have many more friends who say they couldn’t live without their dishwasher. IMO any appliance that will save you energy is a great asset. Good luck with getting it sorted.
