Thanks to Keri Smith and Andrea Scher for introducing me to the Mondo Beyondo. Here is mine.
I want…
1. to visit the library more.
2. to only spend what I have (no more debt).
3. to save more.
4. to find sustainable ways of making money.
5. to draw more.
6. to enjoy drawing more.
7. to not waste my time on things that don’t work.
8. to become better at recognising what doesn’t work (and what does).
9. to get better at saying “no” when I need to.
10. to be less judgemental.
11. to enjoy what I have.
12. to want less.
13. to be more decerning about what I want.
14. to let myself have some of what I want (without endangering 2 & 3)
15. to write more.
16. to make some money from writing.
17. to publish at least three issues of The Beany in 2005.
18. to become a father.
19. to become as well as possible.
20. to eat well.
21. to not feel that I can’t have some of what I enjoy to eat.
22. to find sustainable ways of exercising.
23. to walk more (when I am well enough).
24. to rest more when I need to.
25. to find ways of enjoying the quiet times.
26. to accept the quiet times.
27. to not feel pressurised into doing more than I can.
28. to develop more friendships.
29. to have a second home in London.
30. to visit New York.
31. to spend some time living in New York.
32. to visit San Francisco.
33. to be less uptight about money.
34. to let plenty of money come to me.
35. to feel happy about my body.
36. to buy clothes that I feel good in.
37. to own a bicycle again.
38. to take a cycling/drawing tour.
39. to play the clarinet well enough to be able to busk.
40. to win something.
41. to be more present.
42. to not feel rushed.
43. to write/draw an illustrated novel.
44. to do 43 in a sustainable unrushed way.
45. to be well enough to swim regularly.
46. to be well.
47. to be content with the The Way Things Are.
48. to do what I can and be happy with it.
49. to live a long, healthy, happy life.
50. a cup of tea.

So glad to find this today. Not one for making list or resolutions but I can see real value in this. I’m going to take my sketch book journal with me to Mom’s for a few days and give some thought and play to mondo beyondo. thrive!, O

And how , pray, do define “work”: writing in a weblog might not work, but you do it, as do I.
(2) Buzzing around all over the place (London, San Fran, New York, London,et cetera) literally or in the mind, is spending dosh, n’estpas?
