…a lot over the last couple of days. It’s done me good. It’s been a lot of weeks since I’ve had two full days just at home. A fair bit of time in bed. Reading and being distracted by my laptop. I’m okay and ready again for what the world has waiting for me. Some good things I hope…

Michael, I like your point of view drawing - it’s very colorful yet serene.
Does your cat head-butt you all night long like Miss Foggy does to me?
I spent a a few days of last week in bed, too, trying to shake the vertigo. Finally it went away. On one of those bedrest days The Beany came to keep me company, which helped to pass the time most enjoyably. I will be writing about it in my blog soon!

Michael - I like the patchwork quilt too - looks v cosy. I used to have a bed like this, but we had to change the bed head when we got a queensize matterass, I still miss it. alaptop eh? ooh that is luxury!

I LOOOOVE that drawing! I want to crawl under that quilt and watch TV and surf with a cat sitting on my head. All that is missing is large mug of tea on the right-hand nightstand. And cookies. Gotta have cookies.

This certainly looks like a comfy bed, as well as being tidy. I dare not draw mine.

What’s your cat’s name?

How cosy! Nothing else needed, except maybe a cup of hot cocoa…

Looks like this illustration of your bed was a smash hit! I was drawn to the many colors of the quilt. Bet that took a good deal of time to put down on the page and the effort was well worth your time. Excellent mood set in the simple image that says so much to all of us.
Way to go Michael!

i like the drawing and the colors. you should have drawn the computer screen too instead of pasting a regular screenshot. That would have kept the consistency of the style.

Oh, I finally get to see it! Love the drawing and the descriptions!

Michael, I really like your drawings, but the bed is special. Very inviting and expressive.

very cosy… I like cast iron(?)beds and patchwork quilts, and crazy quilts best of all. Both are made with bits and pieces of cloth, usually with a history of some sort. Sometimes there is embroidery between the patches. Your picture looks homey and comfy.
