things to do (now it’s spring)…

April 4th, 2005

Bottle of Beer

  1. Sit on the beech with a beer and a dear friend.
  2. Buy a new summer hat.
  3. Remember to put sun cream on my head until I get a new summer hat.
  4. Start cutting the grass again.
  5. Eat more salad (and less biscuits?).
  6. Look through my wardrobe for things I don’t wear anymore (and see if any still fit).
  7. Give/throw away clothes I don’t wear.
  8. Find cafes with outside tables.
  9. Start to use my picnic hamper.
  10. Walk more.
  11. Take sunny afternoon naps.
  12. Read in the garden (or on the sea front).
  13. Take my morning coffee outside.
  14. Leave the studio door open.
  15. Dry washing on the washing line again (and enjoy the smell of air dried clothes).

I love that illustration! Stella is so under-rated:) Perfect spring/summer treat!

  5. David Says:

Yes, precisely right, particularly the morning coffee outside (although the hats are not an option for me as well - they simply don’t make them large enough for my giant head).

Hooray for spring! It makes life seem so much more cheerful when the sun is shining. Cheers, Michael!
