In between spending a lot of yesterday sleeping (though not in as interesting places as Blue found) I’ve been working on a flyer and poster for my new class which starts on 26th April in Aberystwyth Arts Centre. Places can be reserved at the box office on 01970 623232. The class is £45.00 for ten weeks, materials (and background music) supplied. Bargain…

For once [just once], I wish I lived in Wales again, I’d LOVE to come to your drawing group. Do tell us what you get up to. Reckon you’ll have some entertaining tales to tell, if it goes anything like the drawing classes I used to teach in Wales!

Would love to be able to attend your art class, Michael but I think that the transport costs would be just a little high and I would probably always be late. Oz is a long way from Aberystwyth. Good luck with the class. I am sure that it will be fun.

Hello Elaine (I did try email you l but it bounced back). Thanks for the idea. I’m not sure how I’d do it, but it’s certainly something to think about. Any ideas as to how to run such a thing would be very welcome!

Love Elaine’s suggestion about online drawing classes. Think you could work something out, with prepaid login, area for dispalying links to student submissions, feedback, task of the day / week etc. I’d sign up for sure, and reckon you’d have a few takers, by the sound of it. Hope you think about trying out this concept. It would be great to have an online drawing group, a drawing community. You’d make a great drawing guru Michael. Good luck with the real class, hope the virtual one becomes a reality.

I’ve been thinking of doing a drawing course for some time now so I may turn up to this one. I’m only 30 minutes away and I quite like Aberystwyth - just need to get off my bum and dial that number.
