back to basics…
I think I am finally getting my life back into a comfortable (and managable) shape after what has felt like a bit of an up-and-down time.
I’ve had a very pleasant weekend pottering around, working on a few things and having plenty of naps and good food.
I seem to have forgotten a lot about pacing myself, enjoying the small things – basically being present and living my life. Maybe I’ve turned a corner. I hope so…
Sitting down with a coffee and a book is suddenly a pleasure again. It feels like an age since I’ve just been lost in a book – not particularly wanting to finish it, not caring what happens next. Just being happy with the page I’m on. Of course this is a blatant metaphor for how to live my life. I’ll try and remember…
