I tend to have soya milk with everything these days - unless I am out and want a nice hot chocolate, or in a place which doesn’t know what that soya stuff is.
Something about me: I plan to start buying just plain black socks from now on, because I don’t like it when ones go missing and you are left with a collection of odd socks. Yesterday I wore mismatched socks, but survived the experience.

I started drinking decaf last week in an effort to reduce anxiety symptoms. I was never a heavy caffeine consumer, so I didn’t experience withdrawal. I take double cream, no sugar.
About me: normally I can only fall asleep lying on my left side.

When I was little…very little…my nickname was pockets because, they tell me, the only dress I would let them put on me had to at least have pockets. I still love commodious pockets in my clothing…and wear dresses only when I absolutely have to. Skirts are okay but I have yet to meet a dress I like.

Helen me too!
Soya with coffee? I’ve had to try and give up milk so I’m not drinking coffee because I hate coffee with soya. I’m on an Earl Gray binge as I can have that with out anything…

I like soy chai lattes (with a sprinkle of cinamon), but they can’t be bought in the country town my sister lives in.
Coffees with milk in them make my brain wonky, but strong espresso doesn’t
When I was 3 and at a cafe/restraunt in France with my parents they started to get annoyed with me and told me to go catch a fish from the fish pond in the courtyard, thinking it would keep me occupied and that I wouldn’t be able to do it. Within 30seconds I came back goldfish in hand and plonked it’s wiggling body down on the white linen table cloth. My parents never made that mistake again!
(that’s 3 things I guess)

I love coffee and tea but it doesn’t like me. Gary likes me better when I don’t drink either - I’m less grouchy without!

I decided to run away from home when I was around 10 or 11 years old. I persuaded my brother (3 years younger) to come with me. He was very reluctant you see.
So we prepared sandwiches for the big adventure and set off. I was living in the country at that time and three fields away from home we stopped for a pic nic. With no food left, we decided to turn back and postpone the runaway for another time.
Shows you how much I like food… LOL

I appreciate dark, strong coffee, with a whisper of cream, in a sturdy mug with easy to hold handle. Hot.
I believe our world would be improved by elevating cats to positions of power, such as president and prime minister.

when i was a young teenager there was a toy doll called Flatsie because…naturally… she was flat and could easily be carried around. My younger sister called me Flatsie because i was flat chested. I didn’t think it was funny at the time.

Seriously,
When someone falls asleep next to me, just at the point that their breathing changes, I hear a crackling sound in my left ear. This used to happen with my kids when they were babies. I could tell it was okay to put them into the crib when I felt/heard that crackling sound. Now I know it is time to put down the book I am reading them and sneak out of the room.

I love my coffee black…I love Starbucks house coffee….and for a treat, MOCHA coffee with whipped cream…yummmm I like coffee more than teas…but maybe that is just “American” of me…I do like tea, but have not really dug into that world. I live in Texas and Texans are BIG BIG iced-tea drinkers!!!!! Those are a few snippets about me….a lady named Kelly.

Coffee triggers Migraine for me.
I treat myself to one mug of black with sugar on Saturday mornings, taken with a full English breakfast. I relish the time I spend drinking it.
I have drugs at hand, just in case, but I don’t work at weekends, so it’s just a case of popping pills and unfurling the hammock if it all goes wrong.
Better to live occasionally than be miserable permanently, says I.
Cheers,
B.

I am a huge fan of Danitrio maki-e fountain pens with flexible nibs and find that I can not enjoy writing unless I am using one!
