the more i rest…

…the more I seem to want to at the moment.
I’m trying to be patient with myself, take things easy for as long as I need to, but I’m starting to find it a little tedious again. Still I’m taking the opportunity to load and unload the washing machine on a regular basis and enjoying plenty of crap TV. The remote control seems to be my new best friend.
I do know that times like this do pass. When they do, and I look back at them, I always think that they were opportunities to enjoy the peace and quiet. I’m going to try and remember that, not start to panic and over do things. Perhaps tomorrow I can have a trip into town and see if my tea drinking skills have improved. I do feel as though my cake eating training has fallen a little behind.
For now, it’s back to trash TV…

There are moments when trash tv is the best thing in the world (not a lot of them, in my opinion, but they definitely exist).

As well as trashy TV see if you can rent a copy of Frida - good film adaptation, ravishing colours.
Glad you’re feeling well enough to be bored with inertia - but as you say - no panicking!
I shall imagine you serenely taking tea and stickies whilst rising above the rush and hurry around you

Don’t panic, Michael, or do: just be.
I believe you might well benefit from taking a flower remedy called Impatiens.
Cheers,
B.

Rest is good. Besides while watching TV you got that great remote control illustration:-)

I’m sure it’s a dreadful bore, Michael, but something to be endured, rather like a bad cold that won’t go away. So indulge yourself in all your favorite foods and programs. Hope you are up and about soon.
