back to normal…

…in the studio.
While I was sick, my beloved iMac was too. He (i’ve named him Jonathan after Jonathan Ive, Apple design guru) had to go back to Apple to have his logic board replaced. He’s back safe and sound, and I’m back with him, pottering in the studio between naps and a little light baking. The normal and the familiar feel very comforting. I suddenly don’t mind that I need to nap in the middle of the day, that I’ve really only got the energy for a bit of drawing and not much else. Simple is good. Just now it feels like enough…

Accepting what just is can be liberating. I wish you good naps and productive bits of drawing

Simple is always good, Michael. Glad to hear you’re slowing down again.
Cheers,

I’m happy you are slowing down… Can I just tell everyone that the latest Beany is wonderful! The first issue I downloaded as a PDF (I think) and this time I got the hard copy and it’s so great! Thank you!!

I’m glad you’re both feeling better. I’ve just been converted to the wonderful world of Apple - a Powerbook.
Daytime naps are good - a doctor told me that people who take them live longer - well, it’s a nice thought.

@sujatin you live longer… exactly the same time as you’re napping? :o)
I do take daytime naps too (I’m legally deafblind, so everything costs a lot of energy too) and I love them.

Simple is always good… there should be much more of it as far as I’m concerned!
