i’ve been scratching…
October 19th, 2005
…away, ever since coming off sertraline. I’m regularly lathering my hands in E45 and have taken to wearing a sock over one at night (and occasionally at other times, much to a few friends’ embarrassment) to try and stop myself scratching too much. Not a cool look.
My car has picked this less than great time to be in need of some serious TLC and means I’ve been spending a lot of time on my own here, on the side of my hill. I was hoping the car would be back with me today, but sadly it is going to be another week. I’m trying to think of this enforced rest as a good thing, but I’m finding it difficult. My energy is in that in between place where I have enough to want to do things, but not quite enough to do them. All just a bit frustrating.
On a brighter (and less itchy) note, I have a new copy of Pride and Prejudice that I’m reading. I made soup today and sat and watched On Golden Pond while I ate it. I took a walk a little way up the hill between showers this afternoon and then came home and ate toast and honey. I talked on the phone with N. Tomorrow I’m going to see the new Wallace and Gromit film.

did you enjoy wallace & grommit? Grommit reminds me of my brother - an engineer!
