i must have more energy…
…because I’ve washed my teapot.
It’s the little things that change when I have a more energy. I finally get round to cutting my nails, I remember to floss, I might hoover my floor, actually finish a book, or even cook something from scratch.
Life is undoubtedly better with more energy. My teapot certainly agrees…

Hello Michael,
Been a while since I commented but I was impressed with your drawing of the tea pot upside down in the dishwasher rack. Wow, what a tough subject to tackle and you got it just right. While you worry that your energy is too low or that your life isn’t going the way you want I see delightful improvement in your drawing and design.
Yesterday, I was at the market waiting to get a flu shot and took on a wire shopping cart as the forground for my sketch of the folks waiting in line. Those perspective lines in a wire contraption are very interesting to the right brain but left side says “goodness your nutz to be drawing that” then as we struggle through, it all works out to be a fun rendering.
best wishes,
Frederick N

Michael,
I lurk quietly, but thought I’d drop you a word or two of grainy encouragement.
The acknowledging of these tiny moments is a pretty vital thing, I find. I’m glad you are taking the time to make a note of them.
Keep coping, etc.

hello michael
the changing of the clocks prompted me to write! Damn I hate this year. I’m off to the shops to get sausages, coffee and other whicked things to make up for the day. Plus a big sunday newspaper. I now have an excuse because it gets used for the kitties litter tray.
love mary

Energy is hard to come by, esp this time of the year here in the states with the days so short. I miss the sun!

Goodness, I don’t know why but I found this very moving! I love the ordinary details of life and this captures one of those moments perfectly.
