i have very little…
…to show for my recent trip to Liverpool. In my bag when I got home were, two uneaten satsumas, the screwed up packet from a chicken wrap bought from Marks and Spencer (very tasty), a tin of macaroni cheese (also from Marks and Spencer and already eaten), a leaflet from Tate Liverpool about their current Sarah Lucas exhibition (which I didn’t see), a leaflet from the Walker Gallery’s excellent Conrad Shawcross exhibition (which I did see), and a new red beanie.
Despite little physical evidence, it was a very good day. My bank account probably thanks me wholeheartedly for making little use of it, and I’m very pleased to be able to report yet another trip without too many ill effects. The truth is I am rather tired today (and was very tired yesterday morning) but again I’ve managed to be kind to myself and take things easy. I’m still thinking that I need to cut back a little on what I’m doing and concentrate on the things that feel good for me. While I’m making some decisions I shall wear my cheering new red beanie…
