i’ve been drawing…

…photo frames for the next issue of The Beany all morning.
I do seem to have fallen into a better (and more manageable) work routine since I’ve moved my computer into the house. But it does rather make the world feel as though it’s shrunk a little. The computer’s in my bedroom (not a large room) and so I’m spending a lot of hours here either working at the computer of sleeping in my bed. It feels a bit like when I was a student living in bedsit-land. There’s something quite comforting and cosy about the smallness of living like this, but at the same time I can see it wouldn’t be good for me over a long period. I must remember to schedule time away, out in the world, seeing people, and moving myself about. I had thought of going for a swim later. Maybe that’s a little too energetic…

I don’t know about you but I’m pretty sure that I’ve got SAD. I’ve been standing outside at lunchtimes knitting when the weather is good to make sure I get some light on my face. But don’t think its enough! Snuck off and did some googling for light boxes but they are all so bloody expenive!
Anyway just to say I think a walk to the post box or something like that every day to ensure that you get some light!

Those are great drawings…I like the old-fashion looking one in the gold frame. Good job!
