new year momentum (hopefully)…
January 2nd, 2006

I do have a real feeling of renewed energy and optimism as the year turns - long may it last.
Today I’m working a little more on the next issue of The Beany. I meet with a local group of writers once a month to drink coffee, eat cake and share what we have been working on. The business of Christmas has rather got in the way, and I haven’t moved The Beany on one page since our last meeting. If I don’t want to be hiding shamefaced behind my cake then I would like to have a few more pages finished. More than that I want the whole issue at the printers before the end of the month. So I shall take advantage of the feeling of momentum in the air just now and roll with it…

Is that a FujiFilm MX-1200 there? Our first digital camera was one of those.
