making the most of what I’m doing…
Life seems to have got busy of late, and when I’m busy, drawing (and blogging) seem to take a back seat. That feels like a real shame, but earning a living (and using my energy to do it) are a priority just now.
Luckily this week some of what I’ve had to do was to draw. I’ve had a couple of illustrations to do for a book. One was to draw a burger. That was better still - I got to draw and then to eat a little junk food (well I couldn’t really just throw the burger away after drawing it could I?). Hopefully there will be more paid drawing jobs. Perhaps even some more involving food (though maybe something a little healthier next time)….

There is nothing like the naughtiness of a little junk food to buoy the spirit.

Handsome burger, guess the maker didn’t want the brand name in the picture? In any case congradulations on your paid picture making.

Michael - I keep meaning to write and let you know how much I enjoyed (and am enjoying) the latest issue of The Beaney. I’m so glad you were able to take your trips. Don’t you love travelling? I do. It’s so exciting to get out there and see new places, new people, new everything!! Wishing you more travels to faraway places….
