toilet humour…
July 7th, 2006
The lovely people at Apple have finally sent me the replacement for my faulty Powerbook. I’m now the proud owner of a 15 inch MacBook Pro. I think we’re going to be great friends.
Having a functioning laptop means I can once again return to my morning habit of toilet surfing. It’s a sign of the times; a generation ago my father would have marched off to the littlest room in the house (the ty bach as is known in Welsh) with his Daily Telegraph in tow. Today I strolled there with my new laptop. Of course I could catch up on some news at the BBC site, or read some posts from the wonderful Everyday Matters Yahoo group (or my much quieter Drawing Club) but instead I made use of the MacBook Pro’s built in iSight camera, and some great software that came with it…
PS Many thanks to everyone that ordered a copy of The Beany after my last entry - they’ll go in the post today. There are still plenty more if anyone’s interested…

This blog entry made me smile! My husband does the same thing…it’s probably a guy thing! We each have new ibooks, but without the camera…wish we had the camera.
