new year, new list

I’m a great believer in lists. I sat eating breakfast with another list believer and we made one each containing all we wanted to accomplish over the next academic year. My fellow list advocate had a far more impressive array of aims, but I’m quite fond of mine. I’ve no idea what happened to number 7, but I’ve already struck off number 3. That was relatively easy, I took out my creditcard and went over to the A-N website and subscribed to a-n magazine for a year. Now I feel much more like an artist.
Getting accepted on to a PhD might take a little more effort.
