Things you can do in twenty minutes. Number 6: Make a snowhead

I’ve become a little obsessed with the “twenty minute trick” and have been making a list of things I can do (or would like to try to do) in twenty minute bursts.

I’d been meaning to make a snowman ever since the snow fell over a week ago. Lethargy and cold (and the fact that the snow was just too floury to really stick together easily) kept stopping me in my tracks. Yesterday, spurred on by this excellent blog post from Fabian Kruse about micro-productivity (or doing something nice with an unexpected piece of free time) I set my trusty kitchen timer and went outside to see what I could achieve in twenty minutes.

The snow refused to roll together like I remember from my childhood, so instead of a complete snowman I just made a head. I was pleased with it, and learnt that whilst sometimes lack of energy and resources might get in the way of doing all one would like, it’s usually possible to do something. After all a snowhead is much better than nothing, and it makes me smile every time I look out of my kitchen window and see it.

As for the rest of my list, it’s growing. Any ideas for things to add to it?
