I’m VERY excited about the new Apple iPad. I’m already picturing myself in my Favourite Cafe flicking through an eBook, catching up on a favourite blog, or trying out a drawing application or two.

I’m also very impatient. I want one NOW! No such luck of course (and I really do need to learn to be more patient!), but my dream was nearly fulfilled last week, when I saw over on MacRumours that Jess Silverstone of Revolutionary Concepts had made a wonderful cut-out of the iPad that you can print out and make yourself. Inspired by Jess’s concept I thought it would be lovely to have a drawn version. So, I’ve made one. If you’re as impatient as me, you can download the necessary files over on Flickr and make your own. You can then head down to your Favourite Cafe and pretend to read, surf or draw. I’m sure you’ll turn a head or two…
